En este marco especulativo nos preguntamos: ¿qué sucede con quienes quedan en las Antillas luego del desastre? ¿Cómo se relacionan entre sí? ¿Cuáles son las “tecnologías caribeñas” que, para sobrevivir, se verán obligadas a rescatar? ¿Qué significa un Caribe sin referentes coloniales? A cinematic project in virtual reality that explores forms of subsistence in a hypothetical Caribbean where a megadisaster has unleashed the sixth mass extinction of our planet. Within this speculative framework, we ask ourselves: what happens to those who remain in the Antilles after the catastrophe? How do they relate to one another? What are the “Caribbean technologies” they will be forced to rescue in order to survive? What does a Caribbean without colonial references mean? In Postcards from a Postcolonial Caribbean, we witness the development of new relationships and transinsular technologies.
